Daniel Kim aka HI Tint Guy at 455 Kapahulu does 1 an excellent job, 2 has great prices, schools you on what not to do during the curing process & warning tapes your window buttons so you don't mess up [thank you, cause I was going to roll them down] BUT he offered after care, if I had any issues or questions to stop by and see him. I bought a Hyundai Santa Fe and got ceramic tinting done by Tint Guy. Boss recommended windshield tinting. It blocks strong sunlight and UV rays, so the interior is not hot during the day. I am very satisfied with the results. The warranty is long and the price is very good. The service is also good.

Update: have had the tint on for two years and it’s still beating the heat. Best investment ever. I turned in my new car for ceramic tint. Daniel squeezed me in during the week. It took about four hours to tint the windshield, sides, and sun and moonroofs. I was so impressed after it dried that I turned in my older car for tinting. Both cars look great. There are super tiny bubbles here and there but barely noticeable. That’s because a human tinted my car. But what had me was that I then turned in my new car for detailing (they tint too), I asked if their shop could’ve done a better job. To which the short answer was a no. Ha! And they would’ve charged more. I’ve always tinted my cars with v-cool. But this was my first go with ceramic. And it has been totally worth it. I barely feel the heat when I’m driving around in this Hawaiian summer weather. Oh do I notice the difference when I get out of my car. My favorite thing about my new car is the tint! Super impressed. Highly recommend.

I got a 35% ceramic tint all round and clear for the windshield. He walked me through what he was going to do and gave me understandable disclaimers. Got it done within 3 hours. Kept me updated of any hiccups along the way such as stickers on the windows. Clear on pricing.
