Meridian Window Tint

We used Meridian Window Tint for our podcast and music production studio in Eagle, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Our front office windows were letting in too much heat and glare, making the space uncomfortable and inconsistent for production — plus, the lack of privacy just didn’t work for client sessions. I’ve read some positive reviews but sadly my experience wasn’t so! I live on a golf course and after 6 months of research we found meridian window tint and selected them based on reviews and the fact they offered a product from 3M called night vision which allowed us to see out at night and offered pretty decent privacy, we had 2 windows done and we liked it so we had the whole house done! 2 young guys showed up to complete the job . I have 2 patio doors that have glass inserts with blinds built in and it has felt surrounding the frame ! During the install I noticed the guy doing my patio doors was jamming a plastic wedge into the glass frame and the force he was using was extreme I even mentioned this to them and they waved it off as normal . They completed the install and I wrote them a check for $2846 dollars , before they left I noticed a lot of bubbles underneath the film and mentioned it too them and I was told it will cure in 30 to 45 days I said ok. A few days later I was cleaning the patio and noticed the felt was exposed on the outside of both doors and it wasn’t like that before the tint install. I sent an e mail to Justin the owner about the problem and stated It was caused by your installer because he was jamming it so hard. Justin told me to give him a few days and I did, it was all by email I could never reach him on the phone ! When he finally got back to me he blamed it on the doors and said it was a warranty issue and I should call Franklin building supply to have it fixed , when I knew dam well that his installer had caused the issue , I got no help from Justin and when I called Franklin I got the complete run around and it was never fixed and it’s still damaged to this day! That was just the beginning of my problems with meridian window tint! We let 3 months pass and we still had problems with bubbles . I e mailed Justin and again he told me that that this was a warranty issue , when I knew the real issue was just too much liquid between glass and film so I waited another 6 months and bubbles were still there!! Justin stated that 3M had discontinued the night vision film and my only choice was to have the bubbled film replaced with a completely different film which would not match the rest of the house or they would remove it all and refund me for my purchase, so I chose to have it all removed and Justin in an e mail responded with ok and your refund will be 1800 dollars right,,, by e mail I guess he was hoping I was either too old or stupid to remember that I paid 2846 so I had to remind him of this , I mean he is the owner and he knew exactly what I paid and he was trying to pull a fast one on me ! This is an honest review and exactly what happened ! He doesn’t back up his work and deflects every problem to warranty issues!! It was an extreme exercise in futility ! Also when I said I wanted tint removed he assumed I was going to go with another company and he proceeded to bad mouth other tint company’s around ! People would do well to explore other company’s !!!

Contacted Meridian Window Tint for a quote on getting some privacy screens installed on the Management doors in our new office building. Justin came by to take some measurements and let us know what the process looks like for picking our screens, while giving some general tips on what would work for our vision. Once we picked out our screens they ordered the materials and the installation was setup shortly after. They were in and out within an hour. We have had some minor bubbling around the edges, but apparently that stems from the material we chose, not to reflect on the installation itself. They even came back by at no cost to check it out. Overall, Justin at Meridian Window Tint and the rest of the team has been great to work with. Professional, Quick, and Efficient. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
