Sunblock Window Tint

**update April 2025** I’ve been a loyal customer at Sunblock for several years, drawn by their excellent service and the ease of working with Errol. However, my recent experiences with their window tinting have been disappointing. The last two vehicles I brought in had noticeable issues with the tint application, including small bubbles and dust particles (approximately 5-10 per window). One car’s tint was so poorly done that I requested a redo. When I addressed the issue, Errol attributed it to unavoidable dust in the air, suggesting that imperfections are typical for tinting. While he reluctantly agreed to fix it, the problem persists and is now even more pronounced on my front windshield. This has been frustrating, as the front windows, lacking factory tint, make the flaws particularly noticeable. After consulting other tint shops, I learned that such issues are not standard and indicate a lack of proper care, possibly due to an unclean shop environment. Given that Sunblock’s pricing is comparable to competitors, I cannot recommend their tinting services unless you’re unbothered by visible bubbles and imperfections, especially in the front windows. While their customer service remains a strength, the decline in tint quality has made it difficult for me to continue endorsing them. I have brought in the last 3 cars i have purchased to Errol. Every time i leave with the car, i am impressed by his attention to detail and professionalism. I wont be taking my cars, or letting my family/friends take theirs to anyone else.

Errol is the owner and does a great job. His prices are unbeatable and for the quality you can’t find any place better. I was so pleased with the work he did that I brought in both my cars within a couple weeks because I knew he would do a great job. I have already recommended him to friends and will definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get their car tint quick, done well, and for a great price. Thanks Errol

I've been going to Errol at Sunblock Window Tint in Sandy for the past 8 years, and I can honestly say he's the best at what he does. I work in the automotive industry and have the skills to do tint and PPF myself, plus I have employees who could handle it, but I still choose to take my personal vehicles to him every time. Over the years, I’ve had 7 of my own cars done by Errol, along with countless cars for friends and family. His craftsmanship is unmatched, and I trust him completely with every vehicle I bring in. I don’t even bother with specifics anymore — I just hand him my keys and tell him to do his thing. Every time, I’m blown away by the results. The work is flawless, and you can tell he genuinely cares about getting it right. It's clear that tinting and wraps aren't just a job for Errol; it's an art for him. If you're thinking about getting your windows tinted, I can’t recommend the full ceramic tint enough. It’s a game changer, especially during the summer. Not only does it keep the car cooler, but the finish is top-notch and really enhances the look of the vehicle. I’ve worked with a lot of professionals in the automotive industry, but Errol is the one I trust, and I won’t go anywhere else. If you want the best, he’s your guy.

We had both cars done back to back. Errol got them tinted while we were at work and had them ready for pick up that evening. He’s very quick and does quality work.

I honestly don’t understand how this place has such good reviews—they must be fake. I had a 3 p.m. appointment and was left sitting in the waiting room for over 30 minutes with no updates. I ended up leaving, but after a phone call where I was assured the work would be done by 4 p.m., I decided to return. Still, no one came back to speak with me until 4:30, only to tell me they had to reduce the service because of a mistake. Then again at 5:30, I was told there was another issue and I’d need to come back another time. To make matters worse, they left black marks on the white seats of my wife’s brand-new car, along with soapy water residue everywhere—I had to clean it myself afterward. Unbelievable. I wouldn’t come back here even if the service were free. I’d rather pay elsewhere for quality work and proper service than deal with this again.
